Christmas Card Picture

Visit with Santa

This past Saturday we had breakfast with Santa at our church. We had lots of fun! We were prepared for it to be really bad, but she surprised both of us! She had no problem with him! We had already told everyone that we would be "those people" with "that kid" that would SCREAM when she got near Santa, so needless to say, I was relieved! Here are a few pics from the visit.

(not a great picture...it looks alot better than this)

Here are a few pictures from when we got our Christmas tree. Callee had more fun playing in the dirt than helping with the tree. There are little dirt mounds all over the yard, caused by pocket gophers...at least that's what they call them here. It's very strange, because you never see an animal, just mounds all over the place! Callee loves to knock them over and roll around in the dirt. Such a farm girl!

18 Month Check-up

Callee will be 18 months old on the 16th. I can't believe she's already that old! We had her check-up on the 6th. She weighs 22 lbs. 8 oz. (25th percentile) and is 32 1/4" long (50-75th percentile). She only had to have 1 shot...a flu shot. :( She did good, though. It's hard to believe that when we go for her next check-up, she will be 2 years old!!!

strange sleeper

Callee is the strangest sleeper. Every night I find her in an awkward position. This was the position the other night. Notice the pointed toes! It was so cute and funny!

Halloween with the Cow

Callee was a cow for Halloween. She loved the costume! She wore it all day!! She wouldn't say "trick or treat", she would just "moo" at everyone. She really got the hang of knocking on doors and getting candy. She even said "thank you"! I was so proud!

The baby gate

Josh thought it would be a good idea to put the baby gate a little higher off the ground so the cats could easily go in and out without having to jump and hurt their paws. This is the result of the gate being too high. Enjoy! We sure did!

Just a little more...

I made it!!

She was so proud of herself once she finally made it to the other side!

MSU vs. Vandy

We went home this past weekend for the MSU/Vandy game, which was well worth the trip! Callee loves going to the games...she's only missed one this year, LA Tech. She has mastered "Go Dawgs!". She has a cowbell at home, so when we are at the games, she has an imaginary one that she shakes. It is so cute! Everything that has to do with football, she will say "Go Dawgs!" We have to have as much State stuff around her, because we live in the middle of Gator Country! :( We don't want any of that rubbing off on her!!

Pumpkin Patch

Every year we have a pumpkin patch at our church...Callee and I worked at it this morning. She LOVED the pumpkins and scarecrows. There was way too much to look at! She had lots of fun and was very good for me for the entire 3 hours!

Busy Month

We have been very busy this month. Callee and I went home Labor Day weekend for the first MSU ballgame at LA Tech, and we just stayed for 2 weeks for the next 2 home games. After we came home from that trip, we were only home for a week before we went to Atlanta for the GA Tech game. We are finally home for a couple of weeks before going back for the Vandy game. I'm glad to be home for a little while.
We had our cats declawed yesterday. They came home today...they are so pitiful looking! I'll post pictures when I can take some of the bandages on their paws. I also will post recent pics of Callee from some of the football games. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
